The only way to get my system to boot up again is to physically remove the capture card from my PC.Īs for my specs, I don't think it is that important, because I tried the card in an older system of mine that I refurbished not long ago, did the exact same procedure and I got the exact same results.Īlso in my BIOS part checker thing the card is being recognized, however as an unknown device. After this I manually downloaded and installed the Elgato drivers corresponding to my card, after this I rebooted, and upon booting up my PC it now freezes on my log in screen (does not respond at all, no mouse no keyboard etc.) and this would continue as many times as I rebooted. I rebooted making sure everything was installed proper, but still didn't recognize the card. So upon the first installation of the card, I booted up my PC, went to download the Elgato capture software, which upon opening did not recognize any device.
I have purchased an Elgato HD60 PRO about 7 month ago on amazon warehouse deals.Įver since I got it I wasn't able to get it work in my PC, so I thought I would turn here for any suggestions on what could be the issue, hoping I can breathe life into it as my return has long gone on the item
